Biographies
Corporal Rob Ennis has been a member of the RCMP for 10 years. His first post was in frontline policing in northern B.C. For the past six years, he has been a member of the B.C. RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT), and has been involved in nearly 100 homicide investigations. IHIT is an integrated unit comprised of RCMP and municipal police service members, responsible for investigating homicides and suspicious deaths across 33 jurisdictions in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.
Corporal Cameron Smirlies has been a member of the RCMP for nine years. He served in frontline policing at the Surrey RCMP detachment, and has significant experience in Serious Crime Unit investigations. He has been a member of the B.C. RCMP’s Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) for three years, and has been involved in dozens of homicide cases, ranging from gangland shootings to missing persons with foul play suspected.
